Pick up the pace with our 10km Cheetah Chase
The Cheetah Chase is a good all-rounder running event. If you feel a bit too comfortable running 5km and are looking for your next challenge, then step it up and try our 10km event.
If you have ran 10km events in the past and are looking to set a new PB, then this track is for you too!
This years' event will be held on Sunday 27th August 2017.
The Cheetah Chase starts at 8.15am and finishes at 10.15am (2 hours).
The course starts inside the Taronga Western Plains Zoo before runners head out the zoo main gates into 'the wild'.
You will follow Obley Road (closed to traffic for the event) toward the Camp Road intersection before turning around and re-entering the zoo. You will then complete a loop of the internal road network of the zoo and finish at the same finish line for all other events. The Cheetah Chase is measured to IAAF standards but not certified.
